An exhibition presenting a new series of large-scale paintings by Georg Baselitz in homage to Elke, his wife of nearly 60 years, who has been a constant source of inspiration for the artist throughout his career and has accompanied the evolution of his work until today. This new series of portraits pursue an intimate reflection on the passing of time, combining grace and severity, the beautiful and the grotesque, suggesting a renewed meditation on the function of portraiture, the meaning of love and old age.
